By Édouard Hugon, O.P. | Translated and edited by John G. Brungardt

Mary, Full of Grace is a summary Mariology—a comprehensive study of the Blessed Virgin Mary as the one full to overflowing with the life of God. Our Lady is “full of grace,” in Hugon’s words, “because she has received the plenitude of graces for herself and because she is the dispensatrix of graces for all the saints.” Masterfully translating Hugon’s brief but deeply insightful contribution to Mariology, John G. Brungardt supplements the volume with an original introduction and copious editorial notes, as well as an appendix of essays by himself, Hugon, and Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange, O.P. The fourth volume in the Thomist Tradition book series, Mary, Full of Grace exemplifies how profundity of thought can illumine sanctity of life in every generation.

This book I consider one of the best written on the Blessed Virgin.Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange, O.P.

Among his many authored works are the multi-volume Cursus philosophiae thomisticae and Tractatus Dogmatici.

John G. Brungardt is assistant professor of philosophy at the School of Catholic Studies at Newman University.
