Sigrid Undset

Sigrid Undset was a Norwegian novelist and essayist and a convert to Catholicism.
Her work is renowned for its realism and poignancy, and she received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1928.
Best known for her Kristin Lavransdatter trilogy and Master of Hestviken tetrology, Undset also wrote numerous other novels and works of non-fiction that showcase her talents for comprehending the human heart and human history. Since 2018, CLUNY has labored to rescue those works from obscurity, re-issuing a dozen editions in total.
