Monsignor Ronald Knox

February 17, 1888–August 24, 1957

Ronald Knox was an English Catholic priest, theologian, and author, and one of the most prominent twentieth-century converts from Anglicanism to Catholicism.

Best known for his contemporary English translation of the Scriptures (the “Knox Bible”), he wrote numerous works of apologetics and collections of sermons, retreat conferences, and lectures, as well as six detective novels.

In 2022, CLUNY was made the official publisher of Monsignor Knox by his literary trust. Since then, we have re-issued seventeen of his books, with an additional twelve forthcoming in 2025.
